GEOCLOCK 7.0 sunlight clock for DOS. The
current sun position is displayed, and the
parts of the earth in sunlight and twilight
are highlighted, with local sunrise/set and
times around the world. A windows version
(GCKWIN70.ZIP) is also available, and the
two versions are functionally and graphicly
similar. Over 200 maps and a spinning
globe program are available.
To install version 7.0 of GeoClock, unpack
all the files in GEOCLK70 (and GEOXTR70 or
GCKWIN70 if you have it) in a directory on
your hard disk, and run GEOSETUP to
customize the program for your location and
hardware. GEOCLK runs the program.
If you have a registered version of GeoClock and are
updating to 7.0 (DOS or Windows), you can install the
new programs over the old, or set up a new directory.
In either case, you must run the REGISTER.EXE program
from your original installation.
The only limitations on the shareware version are:
The system always starts with the help menu.
A limited number of maps are available.
The advanced forms of Zoom and Distance are not available.
Local time display next to cities on the map is not available.
